This weekend I had to finally admit that my iPhone needed service and go to the Apple Store. I made an appointment with the Genius Bar and the immediately determined that I needed a new battery. So, I had to surrender my phone for a couple of hour while they made the switch. Let me tell you, that was tough. I didn’t realize how much I rely on that phone. I was at the mall and that phone is my watch, my wallet, my shopping list, my online shopper, plus my entertainment if I get bored. Today I joined runners around the country in running in memory of Meg Menzies a mother of three who was killed on Jan 13 by a drunk driver when she was out on her morning run in Ashland Va. Running for Meg united the community in support of her family and helped raise awareness of the drunk driving problem her in our country. I was proud to be part of the effort.
